Natasha Ignatieff Fitch passed away peacefully Monday, May 3, 2021, in her island hometown of Noumea, New Caledonia. She was born October 5, 1947, in Noumea, a daughter of Dimitri and Heliene Ignatieff.
On November 29, 1968, she married William T. S. Fitch in Washington. She was the loving stepmother of Eric (Kathy) Fitch, Colin (Renee) Fitch, Tecumseh (Gesche) Fitch and Hilary Fitch; and grandmother of Erin and Tom Fitch. She is also survived by her brother, Patrick Ignatieff; and many cousins, nieces and nephews in New Caledonia.
Natasha was a great cook and enjoyed hosting her family and friends to dinners and parties. She had great fashion-sense and operated her own women’s apparel store for a period of time with her good friend, Agnes Mack.
She will be missed by all.
