Robert L. Sparber
Robert L. Sparber, 83, of McMurray, Peters Township, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021, in Premier Washington Health Center, Washington.
Mr. Sparber was born December 24, 1937, in McDonald, a son of the late Charles and Sarah McGinnis Sparber.
Robert was a proud U.S. Army veteran, and a retired truck driver for Russell Standard Co. When not driving a truck, he loved being outdoors, either farming, hunting or gardening.
Surviving are his loving wife, Kathleen Boyle Sparber, whom he married in 1965; and son Robert (Vicky Moreno) Sparber of Beachview; grandchildren Shawn (Chelsea) Sparber, Dustin and Madison Sparber, and Ian Moreno; brother Edward (Carolyn) Sparber; and sister-in-law Ramona Sparber.
Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Ray Sparber.
Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800). Inurnment will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 27, at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville. Honors will be performed by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #191.
