Steven Paul Vierik, 82, of Brunswick, Ohio, formerly of Washington, died Friday, May 21, 2021, in Beaver County.

He was born September 22, 1938, in Washington, a son of the late Paul Vierik and Elsie Marcella Zedik.

Mr. Vierik worked as a produce manager at Tops for many years until his retirement in 1994.

He enjoyed shopping and was a car enthusiast, but his greatest passion was taking care of the people around him. He will be remembered for his caring and kind nature and his immense generosity.

Mr. Vierik served in the U.S. Army.

Surviving are a niece, Marla (Joe) Teagarden; and two nephews, Don Ealy and Dave Horner.

Deceased are two sisters, Darlene Jean Horner and Shirley Vierik.

All services were private and entrusted to Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, Douglas M. Jones, supervisor, Dr. Lawrence K. Donovan, director. Full military honors were afforded by the Edwin Scott Linton Post #175 of the American Legion, and the U.S. Army.
