Evelyn L. Pitzer
Evelyn L. Pitzer, 52, of Washington, died May 25, 2021, at the Donnell House.
She was born October 31, 1968, the daughter of Charles and Bessie L. McVehil McElhaney, of Washington.
Evelyn graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1986 and worked as a bartender at the Slovak Club.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles, crafting and planting flowers. She was the life of the party. She loved being with family and friends, especially her grandson, Gunner.
On October 7, 2006, Evelyn married Patrick “Kirk” Pitzer, who survives.
In addition to her parents and Kirk, Evelyn is survived by her sons, Justin D. Slider (Hilary Wilhelm) of Washington, Ocean K. Orsky (Tiffany Kidwell) of Washington; daughter, Stormy R. (Brandon) Judd of Newark, Ohio; sister, Kelly M. Newman (the late William) of Washington; grandson, Gunner J. Slider; nieces and nephews, Shantel N. (Roger Sr.) Gubanish, Zachary A. Staley, Shane W. Newman, Cory S. Newman; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by a brother, Charles O. McElhaney.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, June 1, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
