Edward G. Zeiler
Edward G. Zeiler, 78, of Canonsburg, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, in his home, surrounded by his family.
He was the beloved husband of Karen Zeiler for 52 years; loving father of Amy (Joe) Sherwin and Edward (Bianca) Zeiler Jr.; proud Pappy of Luke and Emma Sherwin, and Sebastian and Zoe Zeiler; cherished brother of Elmer Zeiler and the late Lillian Messes, Ralph Zeiler and Donald Zeiler; son of the late Elmer and Anna Zeiler. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, but loved like a brother, Charles Anderson; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Ed proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He owned his own contracting business for more than 40 years until his retirement in 2006.
After retirement, Ed enjoyed traveling with his family, especially cruises and to the beach. He will be remembered for his caring nature, hard work ethic, and most of all, love of family. He always put his family first; he was their number one supporter. He will be dearly missed by all.

Friends and family are welcome at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 30, where a funeral service will be held at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, with interment to follow with full military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Gateway Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
