Mary Vega
Mary Vega, 93, of Langeloth, passed away Friday evening, October 29, 2021, at Southmont Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington.
She was born on September 8, 1928, in McDonald, a daughter of the late John and Emma Goffart Lauff.
A graduate of the Midway High School, she treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Vega was retired from the Langeloth Metallurgical Plant and was a member of the Langeloth Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Garcia Vega, who passed away on December 9, 1991. She was the last surviving sibling in her family of nine children.
She is survived by her three children Donald Vega (Jean), Marcy Kusich (George), and Lori Barber (Charles); grandchildren, David Vega (Carissa), Derek Vega, Jeffrey Kusich (Roberta), Jordan Barber, Morgan Koons (Casey), Blake Barber, Nicholas Kusich (Abigail), and Spencer Barber; great- grandchildren Jaena Porter, Aleena Vega, Declan Vega, Grayson Koons, Macie Kusich and Lillian Koons.
A memorial service and interment in the Grandview Cemetery, Florence, Pa will be held privately for her immediate family under the direction of the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
