Gary L. Taylor, 80, of Waynesburg, died Monday, November 1, 2021.

He was born October 29, 2021, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Clarence A. “Jim” and Mildred Watson Taylor.

Gary was a 1959 graduate of Waynesburg High School.

He served 12 years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from the PA Department of Corrections.

Gary was a member of the American Legion Post #954, Jefferson, was a sky diver and had a private pilot’s license. He and Sue loved traveling and new adventures.

On July 24, 1965, he married Susan Seese, who survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Jeffrey (Michele) Taylor of Mather, Gregory (Mary Beth) Taylor of Lodi, Ohio, Brian (Winona) Taylor of Mesa, Ariz., and Christopher (Jennifer) Taylor of Mather; eight grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Renee, Laura, Jacob, Gabriella, Serinity and Sydney; a sister, Vicki Taylor Antill.

In following the guidelines of wearing masks, friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 7, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. Funeral services are private.
