Thomas W. Douglas
Thomas W. Douglas, 72, of Meadow Lands, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. He was born July 6, 1949 in Washington, a son of David and Hilda Damasio Douglas.
Mr. Douglas attended the Chartiers-Houston schools and was a member of the Houston Independent Club and Presston Hose Club in McKees Rocks.
He was a coal miner for many years and was and an avid Steeler fan.
Surviving are three children, Thomas D. Douglas of Sanoma, Calif.; Mark J. Douglas of Meadow Lands; and Stacey Nance of Eighty-Four; five grandchildren, Hunter, Eric, Matthew and Tina Douglas and Carrington Holmes; the mother of his children, Marlene McFeely of Washington; his second wife, Cindy Douglas and her children and grandchildren; his significant other, Andrea Trich with whom he resided in McKees Rocks; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, David and Donald Douglas; and a sister, Gertrude Welsh.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342. Interment will be private.
