Francis Anthony Kilinsky, 80, of Upper St. Clair, died Saturday, November 6, 2021, in St. Clair Hospital.
He was born October 8, 1941, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Frank George and Anna Pauline Janulle Kilinsky.
He attended Cecil High School before serving in the U.S. Army as a Specialist4. Afterward, he graduated from Robert Morris College with a BS Degree in Business Administration, then went on to Duquesne University to earn a Master’s Degree in Accountancy. He worked for several local corporations as a chief accountant and computer specialist prior to becoming a self-employed CPA, working 25 additional years before retirement.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
He enjoyed his family, his dogs, golfing and playing cards. When harness racing came to town at The Meadows, he loved the challenge of picking a winner and has won several Handicap Tournaments here and in Ohio. And there wasn’t any Sudoku puzzle that he didn’t like solving.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Burke of Beechview and Lori Cox of Imperial; a son, Anthony Kilinsky of Upper St. Clair; grandchildren, Thomas Burke, Andrew Denes (Megan) and Haley Denes (Michael); and a sister, Mary Ann Kilinsky of Upper St. Clair.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Marlene V. Connolly.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 10.
Interment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
