Vanessa Hagedorn, 63, of Core, W.Va., died at 9:37 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, in MonGeneral Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born Monday, July 21, 1958, in Morgantown, W.Va., a daughter of the late Frank Pouillon and Edna Doris Gaskill Pouillon.
Mrs. Hagedorn was a member of the Green Valley Church of God in Carmichaels. She was a proud member of the WVSSPA. She enjoyed doing puzzles, cooking, sewing and she loved being with children. Mrs. Hagedorn worked for the Mon County Board of Education as a classroom aide and as a bus aide.
Michael Hagedorn, her husband of over 40 years survives. Also surviving are one Son, Michael Hagedorn of Ashburn, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are 2 Sisters, Mildred Landers and Frankie Ann Pouillon-Cobun.
There will be a Celebration of Life, followed by a meal, from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Cassville Fire Hall, 719 Mason-Dixon Highway, Cassville, WV 26501.
Milliken and Throckmorton FH Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mount Morris, have been entrusted with her arrangements. Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital / 501 St. Jude Place / Memphis, TN 38105.
