Gary R. Huffman
Gary R. Huffman, 65, of Washington, passed away at home, on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
He was born on January 30, 1956, in Washington, to father Forney Leroy Huffman and mother, Helen Louise Roberts.
Gary was a graduate of Trinity High School. His work ethic and desire to take care of his family, led him to a 40-year career at Waste Management in Washington.
On August 25, 1985, he married Mary Ruth Holmes, who survives. Gary was a kind and loving partner, as well as a wonderful father to his three girls.
In his spare time, Gary loved spending time with his five grandchildren. Each of them inherited a bit of his ornery and stubborn character. He was also a member of the Jessop Club and enjoyed his Saturday meetings with his friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife; are two daughters, Amber M. (Brian) Henry, and Angela R. Huffman; five grandchildren, Conner Huffman, Allie Henry, Owen Wright, Brendan Wright, and Everette Wright; sisters, Barbara Huffman, Linda (Kevin) Lasko, Sherri (Jamie) Bailey, Melissa (Chris) Lotz; brother, Randy Huffman; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, along with his parents; is a daughter, Ashley C. Huffman.
At the request of the deceased, all services are private.
