Dolores M. Hessler Groll
Dolores M. Hessler Groll, 93, of Peters Township, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late William G. Groll; loving mother of Kathy (Paul) Connolly, Bill (Karen), Cindy (Felix) Bachmann, Dave (Kathy), Tom (Kelly), and Rick (Kyle); treasured grandmother of Kevin, Heather, Wesley, Leanne, Shannon, Benjamin, Erin, Jason, and Scott; proud great-grandmother of Penny, Pheobe, and Renley; caring sister of the late Albert Hessler; cherished daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Hessler. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Dolores served 26 years as Judge of Elections in Peters Township. She was Past President of the Women’s Guild at St. Benedict the Abbott Church and very active in her church.
Dolores performed many charitable services, including volunteering at McMurray Manor Care and Mayview State Hospital. She will be remembered for her caring nature, being a gifted artist, and her love of nature, people, and especially her family. She devoted her life to raising her family. She will be dearly missed by all.

Friends and family are welcome at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 15, in St. John the XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray. Everyone meet at the church. Interment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
