James Harper, 28, of Canonsburg, went home peacefully Sunday, November 7, 2021, to be with his Lord. He passed away in Allegheny General Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born June 9, 1993, in Pittsburgh, a loving son of Terri Harper Jeffries. He was a beloved grandson of James L. Harper and the late Etta J. Harper; and loved by cousins, John and Sandy Invernizzi, and Sharon Turco.

James graduated from Canon-McMillan High School Class of 2011. He worked as a cook at Toscana Brick Oven in Southpointe. James was a hardworking, caring and friendly man.

His hobbies were lifting weights, drawing, basketball, fishing and spending time with his mom. He will always be remembered for his loving, caring heart.

Terri and James would like to thank each and every person that prayed for James, gave Terri a ride to the hospital, gave her kind words, comfort and showed love, and put James on a prayer line. Thank you and God bless each and every one of you. You know who you are. God Bless you and love you.

Terri would like to thank all the hospitals for taking wonderful care of James and being kind. God Bless you all.

He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Etta Harper, who he had a special bond with; and his older brother, Randy Lee Jeffries, who he loved dearly.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, who he had a special bond with; his grandfather; countless friends and extended family.

Rest in Peace, my loving son. I will carry you in my heart forever and a day. Love, Mom.
