Amelia Sisler
Amelia “Babe” Sisler, 85, of Mather, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 12, 2021, in the Cloverdale Nursing home.
She was born September 6, 1936, a daughter of the late Joseph and Viola Schrum DeBolt.
On June 23, 1955, she married William Lloyd Sisler Sr., who passed away July 16, 2011.
She was a West Greene High School graduate, and a lifelong member of the Mather Christian Church. She enjoyed bowling, reading, playing cards, painting, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are a son, William Lloyd Sisler Jr. (Bernie) of Mather; three grandchildren, William Sisler III (Tina) of Mather, Nicholas Sisler (Thea) of Crucible, and Nichole Lemley (Brian) of Carmichaels; three great-grandsons, Julian, Mason and Levi Sisler, two great-granddaughters, Lily Sisler and Kayle Lemley; one brother, Jim DeBolt (Hazel) of Stow, Ohio; and one sister, Josephine “Wacky” Simcic (John) of Woodbridge, Virginia.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are three sisters, Frances Harmon, Sue Lemley and Shirley DeBolt; and three brothers, Harvey DeBolt, Art DeBolt and Bill DeBolt.
All arrangements were private and entrusted to the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor.
