Charles M. Edwards Jr.
Charles M. Edwards Jr., 72, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, November 13, 2021.
He was born September 14, 1949, in Pittsburgh, a son of Charles M. and Wilda Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, and attended St. Patrick Worship Site.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a printing press operation at Interform for 36 years. Mr. Edwards proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He and his wife enjoyed the outdoors, primitive camping, and target shooting black powder firearms with friends. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penquins fan, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Christine (Anthony) Charnley, of Paso Robles, California; stepson, Jeff (Kathy) Adams of Whidbey Island, Washington; stepson, Rick (Mary) Adams of Houston; sister, Lorraine Clark of California; grandchildren, Joshua Adams, Angela Romano, Sterling (Brittany) Hayden, Elizabeth (Josh) Adams, Jordyn (Bob) Charnley, Marie (Josh) Charnley; great-grandchildren, Aaron Adams, Ryder Charnley, Akadia Hayden, Zelda Hayden, Tristyn Romano, and Elijah Romano, Kairi Hayden, Rowyn Stanford, Sterling Hayden Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Lalli Edwards, who died on February 14, 2021; and sister, Joyce Kennal.
There will be no visitation, and a memorial service for Charles and Marie will be held at a later date.
