David S. “Dave” Tokarczyk, 66, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 15, 2021, after a brief illness. Dave was born November 2, 1955, to the late Zygmunt and Thelma Tokarczyk.

After graduating from Carlynton High School, Dave studied to become a professional driver. He was a loving provider for his family, working as a tractor trailer driver and Port Authority bus driver.

Dave is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Jane Grimes Tokarczyk; four children, Kathy (James) Simmons, Amy (Kelvin) Armstrong, Lynn Cleavenger and David J. Tokarczyk; six grandchildren, Selena, Mackenzie, Alexis, Jordan, Kyleigh and Juliana; three brothers, Tom (Maria), Bob (the late Patricia) and John (Renee) Tokarczyk. He was the nephew of Helen Sulick and Nora Tokarczyk. Dave will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Dave would want everyone to know that he is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He enjoyed working on cars, traveling with family, fishing, being involved in church, spending time with friends, and sharing God’s word with everyone he met. He will always be remembered as the best husband and father anyone could ask for. His smile, laughter, and storytelling will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Szafranski-Eberlein Funeral Home, Inc., where family and friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 19, at 101 Third Street, Carnegie. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 20, in the New Life Fellowship Church, 56 Prestley Road, Bridgeville. Burial will follow in All Saints P.N.C. Cemetery.
