John W. Gelestor

John W. Gelestor, 73, of Seminole, Fla., died Sunday, November 14, 2021, in his home, after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 22, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John and Lela Gelestor.
John graduated from Burgettstown High School, served four years in the Air Force, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
John enjoyed tennis, golf, dancing with his wife, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, especially with his granddaughter, Makaila.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mickie; daughters, Shawn Warticki, Allison Ellison (Mike), Matt Warticki; granddaughters, Makaila, Ava and Olivia; sister, Rita Paschke; and several nieces and nephews.
John believed in living life to the fullest and he had a gift of making people feel special.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in lieu of services.
