Mary Jo Scott
Mary Jo Scott, 71, of Belpre, Ohio, died Sunday, November 21, 2021, after a lengthy illness, in Continuing Healthcare at Forest Hill in Saint Clairsville, Ohio.
She was born July 30, 1950, in Washington, a daughter of the late George Randall Ward and Elizabeth Buchanan Ward.
She was a 1968 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Washington.
She is survived by her husband, William Scott of Belpre, Ohio; her daughter, Dr. Traci Giles (Marshall) of Fort Mill, S.C.; her son, Brian Miller (Candie) of McDonald. Also surviving are her brothers, William R. Ward (Nina), John “Rick” Ward, Charles “Doug” Ward; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Gump; and her brother, Jamie Ward.
At Mary Jo’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
