Mary Jane Lachman
Mary Jane Lachman, 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at home with her loving husband of 57 years, Russell G. Lachman.
Mary Jane was born in Erie, on September 17, 1942, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Kernaghan Goughler.
Mary Jane graduated from Bethel Park High School.
She started her career with AT&T. She put her career on hold to raise to daughters who survive, Kris Ann (Kevin) Mills, and Kimberly (Jeffrey) Siegman.
Mary Jane continued her career with Peters Township School District and retired as the Secretary to the Superintendent after 18 years of service.
She was also involved with Wardrobe Local 787 as a seamstress and wardrobe assistant in addition to serving as Secretary and Financial Officer.
She also enjoyed crocheting, crafting and making afghans for family and friends.
She is survived by four grandsons, Adam Mills, Kyler (Kelly Wagner) Siegman, Justin (Nicole Coffield) Mills and Parker Siegman; siblings, Thomas (Christine) Goughler, Elizabeth (Donald) Heim, Joanne (Gerald) Buckley; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and Family are welcome at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, at St. John the XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church. Interment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
