George J. Norkus
George J. Norkus, 73, of Florida, formerly of Upper St Clair, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021.
He was a son of the late Ernest and Lucille Norkus; beloved husband of Janet Oravec Norkus; loving and devoted father of Lisa Norkus Guzzo (Matt); future granddaughter, Georgia; brother of Nancy Norkus (Richard Wile, deceased). He is survived by a nephew and nieces and many relatives and friends.
George was a practicing pharmacist for more than 40 years. He was always optimistic, compassionate and kind.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 9, in St. Catherine Laboure, (St. Louise de Marillac), 320 McMurray Road, Pittsburgh. Interment will be private.
Donations, in his memory, may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
