Mary Ann Cossu
Mary Ann Cossu, 77, of Canonsburg, passed through heaven’s gates on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. She was born April 27, 1944, in Washington, the daughter of the late Frank and Elsie Willhoft Cossu.
Mary Ann had a strong love of horses and belonged to various saddle clubs including the Mountain Valley Trail Riders. She was an avid antique enthusiast and owned Shabby Butterfly in downtown Canonsburg. She worked at and with Hickory Auction Barn and Clayton’s Auction. Mary Ann was a devout Christian and attended Jefferson Baptist Church with her longtime companion James Clayton.
She is survived by her daughter Tamera Knox Brickl (Nick); grandchildren Aaron and Olivia Brickl; brother Frank (Diane) Cossu; niece Caitlyn Cossu; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Linda Cossu and Betty Richardson.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 11, at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
