Thomas Harry Hultz
Thomas Harry Hultz, 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday, September 30, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his lifelong wife and soulmate of 58 years, Janet Ann Long Hultz.
Tom was born April 17, 1931, in Bethel Park, a son of J. Albert and Kathryn Hultz. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1949.
Tom proudly served his country in the 28th Army Division during the Korean War.
Tom was a longtime member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, where he served in many capacities. He loved his church and the dear friends he made there.
He is survived by a son, Thomas B. (Laura) Hultz; and a daughter, Stacy L. (Edward) Phillips; four grandchildren and their spouses; and two great-grandchildren.
Tom worked for 37 years at Tri-River Building Products Company as a sales manager. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and gardening, but he enjoyed his winemaking the most, winning several blue ribbons for it. He was also the photographer and family historian.
Tom’s quote: “I’ve had a great life and God has been good to me.”
There will be a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 20, in Bethel Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park, followed by a reception. A graveside service will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church, or a charity of one’s choice.
