Harold Francis Clark Jr.
Harold Francis “Howdy” Clark Jr., 74, of Rices Landing, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at home with his loving family at his bedside. Harold was born May 24, 1947 in Fayette County, the son of the late Harold and Goldie Clark.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Ann Karwastske Clark; two sons, Harold Scott Clark and wife Janie of Rices Landing, and Brenan Clark at home whom was his caretaker along with Harold’s’ wife Ann; four grandchildren, Austin, Gage, Savannah and Jackson Clark; his fur baby Gus; sister-in-law, Melinda Stoneking and husband Jack of Smithfield.
Harold was a Navy veteran, serving in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968, and later on he retired from Dilworth Coal Mines.
In Howdy’s earlier years he enjoyed going to flea markets, auctions, gardening, fishing, remodeling their home, but most of all he enjoyed collecting cookbooks and cast iron skillets.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his in-laws William and Catherine Karwatske; and two brother-in-laws George Wilson, and William Karwatske, Jr.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until time of service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, with Chaplain David McElroy officiating. Greene County Honor Guard will be performing taps.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the hospice nurses Jackie and Kimberely for the great care they gave Harold. Howdy gave his last big hug to his niece Missy.
