Charles Armstrong, Jr.
Charles Armstrong Jr., 77, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, after a long battle with COPD.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon, his children Bill (Sara), Shannon (Mike), and Sean; his grandchildren Zachary, Payton, Lorraine, Patrina, Jasmine and Aunkayla; and one great-granddaughter, Avianna; sisters, Patty, Linda (Spark) and Joannie (John); and various cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 17, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
A public service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 18.
A private inurnment will be scheduled in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, at the family’s convenience.
