Lois F. Morton, 84, of Bentleyville, died Friday, October 22, 2021, in the VA Medical Center, Aspinwall, Pittsburgh. She was born November 4, 1936, in Somerset Township, a daughter of Clarence R. and Martha Deneen Morton.

Lois was a graduate of Monongahela High School and a peacetime veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. For many years, she was employed as a bank auditor in Ohio.

She is survived by her sister, Loretta Ruse of Bentleyville; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Charles and Jack Morton; former husband, Borden P. Carr; and her beloved dogs, Brigadoon, Spice and Sugar.

At Lois’s request, there will be no visitations. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
