Ella Mae Jones
Ella Mae Jones, 77, of Washington, formerly of Canonsburg, died Monday, October 25, 2021, in the Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington. She was born July 12, 1944, in Jacksonville, Fla., a daughter of George and Eleanor Davis Johnson.
Mrs. Jones was a retired nurses aid for Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Ella enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles, photography and socializing with friends and family.
Surviving are two sons, Eugene Washington, Jr., of Washington, and Norman Warren of Pittsburgh; a brother, George Johnson, Jr., of Pittsburgh; a sister, Robin G. Johnson of Canonsburg; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.
