Frank E. Kubichar Jr.

Frank E. Kubichar Jr., 61, of Washington, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021. He was born in San Jose California on January 15, 1960, a son of the late Frank E. Kubichar Sr. and Sarah Jean Guthrie Kubichar Wright of Lone Pine.

He enjoyed his youth with all of his buddies in Lone Pine, playing on the baseball and softball teams. He was a 1977 graduate of Trinity High School, and then went on to proudly serve in the US Marines as a Combat Engineer, stationed in California. He was honorably discharged in 1985 with a rank of Corporal. He was an expert rifleman and Cold War Veteran.

He is survived by his mother Sarah Jean Wright, his children Natalie (Jeremy) C.J. (Angel), and Frank (Jessie); grandchildren; as well as a sister Judy; beloved Uncle Johny; Aunt Ginny (Joe), Aunt Alice; and many other family members and friends.

Deceased, in addition to his father, are an infant sister Cindy; maternal grandparents Cal and Alice Ballard; paternal grandparents Frank and Meri Kubichar.

They say the streets of heaven are guarded by US Marines, they now have another to join the ranks.

Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 1, in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 2.

Interment will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery.
