Regina Grim, 84, of Davistown, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the Rolling Meadows Nursing Center in Waynesburg.
Born at Jacob’s Creek near Smithton, on March 11, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida Hoyle Courtney.
She was retired from the FBI Center in Clarksburg, where she worked in the fingerprint division. Regina was a lifelong follower of the Pittsburgh sports teams and a big fan of Elvis Presley.
Surviving are her two children, Sherri Grim of Davistown, and John Grim and wife Lisa of Dilliner; four grandchildren and their spouses, Nichole Kullman (Matt), New Ulm, Texas, John Grim, II., (Lacey) of Davistown, Charles Grim (Marley) of Kernersville, N.C., and Lambert Grim (Anna) of Davistown; and five great-grandchildren, Adeline Kullman, Leanne, Burton, Elliot and Zeplyn Grim.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed looking after the needs of her family, and will be dearly missed by those who loved her.
Preceding her in death was her sister, Margaret “Peg” Barzanti.
Private services for her family will be held on Monday, Nov. 1, at the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, with interment following in the Highland Cemetery, Davistown.
