Carol F. Fleming
Carol F. Fleming, 78, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in her home.
She was born June 9, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Michael and Eleanor Krah Freshwater.
Carol retired from Ray Hough Printing Company in Muse.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, now known as St. James Parish.
Carol loved to watch cooking shows, loved to shop, took many classes, and enjoyed crafting, especially ceramics. She was active in the Girl Scouts and delivered Meals on Wheels. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.
On August 12, 1967, Carol married William T. Fleming, who survives.
Also surviving are daughters Terry F. Patterson (Kevin) of Laurinburg, N.C., and Michelle R. Hale (Brian) of Nicholasville, Ky.; son, William S. Fleming (Courtney) of Coraopolis; grandchildren, Alexis, Matthew, Zack, Bri, Colton, Caitlin, and Brooklyn; sister-in-law, Gerrie Freshwater of Aspinwall; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Carol in death was a brother, Michael Freshwater; and a grandchild, Amber.
Memorial contributions may be made to the City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling Street, Washington, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, September 4, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes LTD., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
