Alma Jean Testa went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 9, 2021.

She was born January 11, 1941, a daughter of Joseph Sr. and Rose Marie Spina Testa. She was a 1959 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.

Alma Jean worked tirelessly for Dr. John P. Nairn, D.M.D. for over 50 years. Her love of his dental practice and caring for children was evident in all she did.

She created a special program as a pediatric dental hygenist to introduce children to dental care in a fun and loving way. Photos of each of her patients lined her operatory walls. She instilled in each child a unique bond that continued for generations.

Whatever was asked of Alma Jean, she did with a smile. She was an integral part of the dental practice that extended far beyond her hands-on work. Her legacy will be remembered fondly and cherished by all who had the pleasure to know her.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church (St. Oscar Romero Parish) in Meadow Lands. She had a deep passion for baking and made the most spectacular treats.

Surviving is her beloved niece, the apple of her eye, Deena Marie Testa Catalano (Anthony) of Las Vegas, Nev.; and her sister-in-law, Debbie Testa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Testa Jr.

It was Alma Jean’s wishes that there be no public viewing.
