Joseph G. Keener
Joseph G. Keener, 93, of North Strabane, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021.
He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Keener; loving father of Linda, Joseph, Timothy and Susan Platis; proud grandfather of Alan Arnold, Timothy, Krista and Jessie Keener; and several great-grandchildren.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he worked for 38 years as a corrosion engineer with Columbia Gas Transmission.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing and hunting with his family and friends.
Arrangements by Beinhauer. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 16, at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 17, in St. John XXIII, St. Benedict the Abbot Church.
Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
