Garnet M. Clendaniel

Garnet M. Clendaniel, 82, of Houston, died Saturday, September 18, 2021, surrounded by her family.

She was born February 8, 1939, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Victor and Ann Katuna Galbraith.

She was a 1958 graduate of Turtle Creek High School and was employed for many years as an Insurance Agent for the Colaizzo Insurance Agency.

She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, but her joy was found with her family especially her grandchildren.

On June 11, 1960, she married Donald C. Clendaniel, who died September 16, 2013.

Surviving are five children, Paige Zanaglio (John) of Houston, Lori Bakaitis, Donald Clendaniel Jr. (Julie), Bethany Licht and Kurt Clendaniel (Traci) all of Canonsburg; 10 grandchilren, Devan, and Karlee Zanaglio, Courtney Counihan (Josh), Breanna Williams (Ty), Rachel Bakaitis, Jack Clendaniel, Olivia and Rob Licht, and Ryan and Sarah Clendaniel; a great-granddaughter, London Mae Williams; two brothers, Nick Galbraith (Sydney) of Houston and Roger Galbraith (Marilyn) of Pittsburgh and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sons-in-law, Kenny Bakaitis and David Licht; two sisters, Frances A. Putorti and Jean Buff; and a brother, Victor Galbraith.

At the request of the deceased, all services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.
