Kathleen A. Waugaman

Kathleen A. Waugaman, 70, of Claysville, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 3, 1951, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Thomas B. and Patricia R. Miller Harkins.

Mrs. Waugaman attended Stowe-Rox High School, Stowe Township, and went on to work at Gabriel Brothers. Later she bred golden retrievers and was owner of Seasons Kennels.

She was a member of B.P.O.E. 776 in Washington and a member of the Washington Arms Club.

On August 15, 1981, in Pittsburgh, she married Arthur Waugaman, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Kelly (Jeff) Truax of Washington; two sons, Raymond (Melissa) Mongelli of Pittsburgh and Dustin Waugaman of Claysville; a brother, Joseph Harkins of Pittsburgh; four sisters, Linda (Ed) Elk, Nancy (Boomer) Mutschler, Donna (Rich) Dunner and Elizabeth Harkins, all of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Paige and Jordan Sanders, Tyler and Benjamin Waugaman; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Deceased is a brother, Thomas R. Harkins.

Friends will be received for a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 25, in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, with the Reverend Eric Rodes officiating. All other services will be private.
