Dominica “Minnie” Janicki, 98, of McMurray, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, in Evergreen Assisted Living, Waynesburg.

She was born September 13, 1923, in Fredericktown, a daughter of the late Gemes and Mary Battoni Righetti.

Mrs. Janicki was a 1942 graduate of East Bethlehem High School.

She was employed at the Clark Candy Company in Pittsburgh for many years.

Minnie was a longtime member of St. Benedicts Roman Catholic Church.

She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, baking, card games, puzzles and gardening.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Janicki was the last of her immediate family.

Deceased are her husband, Walter Janicki, who died in 1978; five brothers, Bill, Babe, Charles, John and Joe Righetti; four sisters, Maggie Scotton, Edith Righetti, Kay Waugh and Tracey Kowalczyk.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, in the Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, with the Rev. Mark Scotton officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
