Shirley Mae Temple Hopkins
Shirley Mae Temple Hopkins, 86, of Washington, died September 24, 2021, in Premiere Washington Health Center.
Shirley was born June 6, 1935, in Washington, the daughter of the late Charles Clifford and Verna Ackley Martin.
She attended Trinity High School and retired from Washington Steel.
Shirley enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with friends and family.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge #22.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Harold Hopkins, who she married on August 6, 2006; son, Rodney (Patricia) Temple, of Washington; brother, William (Sandra) Martin, of Ligonier; sister, Barbara Martin, of Washington; grandchildren, Nicole (Douglas) Horr, Jacqueline (Tim) Campbell, and Elizabeth Temple; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Amy, Garrett, and Skylar; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Temple.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Donald Temple, who died October 17, 2019; a son, Donald Temple, Jr.; and brothers, Edward, and Robert Martin.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021, in William G. Neal Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021.
Interment will follow in West Middletown Cemetery.
