John K. Beatty
John K. Beatty, 50, of Taylorstown, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021.
He was born August 17, 1971, in Ravenna, Ohio, a son of Donald Lee and Mary Lou Braddock Beatty.
After high school, John became a machinist. He enjoyed hunting, camping, hiking, traveling and watching movies with his family; his favorite movies were Twister and Wyatt Earp. He also liked spending time in Potter and Elk counties. John had a kind heart; he always enjoyed making people laugh, but above all, he was an amazing father.
John leaves behind his loving fiancee, Wendy D. Stone; children, Gavin R. Beatty, Sabrina E. Beatty, Wyatt M. Beatty; parents Donald and Mary Lou Braddock Beatty; sisters, Amy (Stan) Moore and Bethany (Duane) Loar II; nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Sadie Beatty, and James and Mary Alice Braddock.
Visitation for John will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 30, in Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323, 724-663-7373, www.youngfhinc.com.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, in the funeral home. Interment to follow at West Alexander Cemetery.
At the request of the family, face masks will be required and they would also like visitors to wear casual attire.
