Arthur Anthony Gillon III, 41, of Bentleyville, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022. A son of Arthur Anthony (Joan) Gillon Jr. of Butler and Jean McLaughlin (Joseph) Coleman of Charleroi, he was born in Washington July 10, 1980. Formerly of Washington, Art had been a resident of Bentleyville for the past three years.

He had been employed as a front desk attendant at the Best Western in Bentlyville and previously worked at Pizza Hut and Gem Solutions, both in Washington. He enjoyed golfing and shooting pool with the league at the Bentleyville Tavern.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter and a son, Jalynne Gillon and Ethan Gillon, both of Butler; two sisters, Nicole Gifford of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Michelle Gillon of Butler; his brother, Ryan Gillon and fiancee Ally of Orchard Park, N.Y.; paternal grandmother, Flora Gillon of Washington; and many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, Bill McLaughlin in 2004; and a brother-in-law, Neal Gifford in 2019.
