Theda King Williams
Theda King Williams, 101, of Claysville, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 10:30 p.m., in the Donnell House in Washington.
She was born September 3, 1920, in East Finley Township, Washington County, a daughter of the late Earl Elroy and Alta Irene Stollar King, and had been a resident of the Claysville area most of her life.
Mrs. Williams was a 1939 graduate of the former Claysville High School and a former member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church.
She was a former member of the Civil War Roundtable and the Business and Professional Woman, both in Washington.
Mrs. Williams enjoyed raising roses and general floral gardening, and was a lover of all animals and birds.
On December 2, 1944, she married Frederick Franklin Williams, who died September 22, 1985.
Surviving are a son, F. Thomas (Debra) Williams of West Alexander; two grandsons, Thomas Lee “T.L.” (Ida) Williams of Burgettstown, and Timothy James “T.J.” (Valarie) Williams of Harleysville; and four great-grandchildren, Ella, Katie, Adina and Jaidan Williams.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
