Mark Carter
Mark Carter, 67, of Washington, formerly of Claysville, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022.
Born April 6, 1955, he was a son of the late James A. and Mary Auld Carter.
He was the dear brother of Deborah (Tom) Chatlak of Canonsburg, Pamela Carter and JR of Eighty Four, and the late Chris Carter. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Mark graduated from McGuffey High School, Class of 1973.
Mark had a love for horses, which led him to the Meadows Racetrack, where he helped train his father’s horses. Throughout his younger years he worked as a commercial contractor. His heart never left the family farm.
As requested by the deceased, there will be no visitation or memorial service.
