Ted Culley
Ted Culley, of Bridgeville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 23, 2022. He was born February 3, 1957, and was a graduate of Burgettstown High School, Class of 1976.
He was the beloved father of Erica (Kenny) Plute and Brandon Culley (Mandy Wokulich), both of McDonald. He leaves behind five beautiful grandchildren, Starlily Culley, Talen Plute, Maci Plute, Acen Culley and Levi Culley. His family was his world, and he enjoyed every minute he spent with them including his beloved dog, Gizmo. Gizmo was his best friend and companion. Wherever you found Ted, Gizmo was always by his side.
Also surviving, in addition to his children and grandchildren, are the mother of his children, Sheila Hamilton; stepfather, Joseph DeLuca of Burgettstown; sisters, Brenda Waters of Burgettstown, Cynthia (James) Johnston of Ingram and Michaela Culley of Burgettstown; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. His loss carries such a void in so many of us.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted G. Culley and Janet M. Deluca.
Ted worked for the Catholic Diocese as a groundskeeper for several years, though he spent the last years employed in the private health care field.
Ted had a love for music and was a disc jockey for a number of years.
Funeral arrangements by Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home. Family and friends welcome at 430 Washington Avenue, Bridgeville, PA 15017, from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27. Private services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, in Ted’s memory, to a local animal shelter.
