Earlene L. Richards
Earlene L. Richards, 96, of Clarksville, formerly of Vestaburg, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, in Washington Health System Greene.
She was born September 17, 1925, one of two daughters and four sons of the late Frank and Garnet Sethman Otto.
A homemaker, Earlene previously was employed at Brownsville Sportswear for over 25 years.
Mrs. Richards was a former member of both the Vestaburg Presbyterian Church and the Shiloh Baptist Church, also in Vestaburg, and a member of the Beth Center Senior Center.
Earlene loved bowling, enjoyed Bingo and bus trips to Atlantic City.
Surviving are five children: Glenn Richards of N.J., Douglas Richards (Terry) of Grindstone, Crystal Chambers (Jeffrey) of Clarksville, Cathy Murray (John) of Vestaburg and Jody Richards (Elizabeth) of Grindstone; 15 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is her husband, Glen A. Richards, who died December 24, 1969; and a son, Terry Richards (T.R.)
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home Ltd., 42 Bank Street, Fredericktown. Interment will be in Howe Cemetery, Coal Center.
