Evelyn R. Ritter
Evelyn R. Ritter, of McMurray, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the young age of 95, with family by her side.
She was the beloved wife for 70 years to the late Elmer Albert Ritter, her true soul mate. Evelyn and Elmer’s lives orbited around each other; they spent their time embarking on many adventures, traveling and dancing through it all. They loved working side by side at their family business and sharing the fruits of their labor with family and friends.
Evelyn was a kind, loving, and very patient person by nature. She was known for giving the best hugs and was happiest when she held a baby in her arms. She will be forever loved by her family and friends.
Evelyn is survived by six children, Keith (Joan) Ritter, Brian (Tatiana) Ritter, Craig (Tamara) Ritter, Diane Rusch, Darryl (Connie) Ritter and Elmer (Nikki) Ritter; along with 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Seemiller.
Family and friends will gather from 10 until the 11:45 a.m. time of her remembrance service Friday, August 12, in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211). Internment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
