Kalliope Flaskos
Kalliope “Kal” Flaskos, 85, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
She was born August 26, 1936, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Antonio and Maria Flaskos.
Ms. Flaskos was an active member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Canonsburg. She was a member of the Pan Rhodian Society, Cretan Club, and Daughters of Penelope where she held various offices. She enjoyed Greek music and culture.
Surviving is her brother, Haralampos (Angeline) Flaskos, of Beaver; her nephews, Michael and Anthony (Christina) Flaskos; great-niece, Angeliki Kalliope and great-nephew, Haralampos Michael; and the Lucas, Carroll and Raymond Families, to whom she was lovingly known as YiaYia Pope.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, in the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA, 15317. Trisagion will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Church. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday, 10 to 11 a.m., in the church, followed by services at 11 a.m. with Father George Athanasiou, officiating. Burial will follow.
