Connie Mae Myers, 76, of Carmichaels and Nemacolin, died on Friday, August 5, 2022 in Ruby Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Connie was born on August 15, 1945 in Logan, W.Va., the daughter of the late Donald and Margie Lee Igo Mitchell.
She is survived by three children: Debbie Williams (Steve), Denise King, and David Myers (Kathy), all of Carmichaels; sister-in-law, Connie Myers; eight grandchildren: Casey Myers, Shelby Myers, and Victoria Myers, Connie Martin, Christy Crouch, Eden Wrick (Ben), Josh and Alexa King; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her husband, Stanley E. Myers; a son, Doug; and two grandchildren, Brook Myers and B.J. Myers.
Carol was a licensed minister and travelled to nursing homes and churches as her ministry. Along with her late husband, she was a member of the “Harvest Lights” singers. She loved the Lord with her whole heart, mind and soul.
She liked stopping at McDonald’s for a cheeseburger, her favorite food.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the Lesako Funeral Home, Carmichaels, 724-966-5100. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Reverend Andrew Gump officiating. Burial will take place in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
