Dianna Sue Welling
Dianna Sue Welling, 72, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, after a seven month battle with cancer.
She was born October 18, 1949, in Waynesburg, to the late John Earl and Rebecca Haught Grove.
Sue, as everyone knew her, was a 1967 graduate of West Greene High School. She also graduated from West Virginia University with a Physcial Education degree. She also worked at several banks as a teller as the they moved around.
She married her high school sweetheart, Bruce Welling, on June 11, 1971, and just celebrated their 51st anniversary.
She was a member of the Rogersville Christian Church. Sue enjoyed raising flowers and exercising with her friends.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, John Welling of Hamilton, Ohio and David Welling of Gainesville, Virginia; a brother, James Grove of Waynesburg; and a sister, Cathy Hoskins of Florida. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Emma and Sammy, who were the loves of her life.
There was no funeral. There will be a memorial service for her life held at the convenience of the family.
