Harry “Butchie” Eugene Evans Jr., of Scottsdale, Ariz., died Wednesday, August 3, 2022, in his residence. He was born September 13, 1958, in Washington, a son of Harry E. Evans, Sr. and Ruth Bungard Evans. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1976.
He worked for Great Lakes Cable, Salt River Indian Community, Scottsdale Ranch, Washington School District and Brockway Glass.
Mr. Evans enjoyed hunting and was an avid Steelers fan.
On April 17, 2022, he married Marrie King, who survives.
Also surviving are his sister, Diana Yurkovich of Washington; stepson, Terry Davis and stepgrandson, Terry Davis III of Washington; nephew, Evan Yurkovich (Morgan Wixted) of Greer, S.C.; niece, Danielle Haugh (Duke) of Terrace Park, Ohio; one great-niece, Sophia Haugh; and four great-nephews, William Haugh, Henry Haugh, and Brooks and Ira Yurkovich.
He is sadly missed by his wife, family and his buddy, Sylvester, the cat.
There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
