Dolores Jean Molnar
Dolores Jean Molnar, 89, of Avella passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in her home.
She was born on July 24, 1933, in Avella, Hopewell Township, daughter of the late Charles Edward and Nina Powelson Martin.
Jean attended Trinity High School and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Follansbee, W.Va.
She enjoyed tending to her flowers and mowing her lawn. Jean loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On June 1, 1950, she married Ernest Molnar, who passed away on July 24, 2010.
Surviving is a son, Michael (Carolyn) Molnar of Avella; three grandchildren, Josh (Andrea) Molnar, Matthew (Roxanne) Molnar, Stephanie (Daniel) Atkins; eight great-grandchildren, Gavin and Grant Molnar, Silas, Maisy, Calie and Briar Atkins, Anna and Lucas Molnar; a brother, Charles E. (Linda) Martin of Washington.
Deceased in addition to her husband of 60 years, is a brother, Donald W. Martin.
Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312, followed by a graveside service in Independence Cemetery, Avella.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Avella Volunteer Fire Department and West Middletown Fire Department.
