Debra A. Zalaznik, 61, of Donora, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in her home.
Debbie was born October 19, 1960, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Donald A. and Donna L. Nagode Zalaznik.
Debbie was a faithful member of St. Ann’s Church in Bulger. Many years ago, Debra even played the organ for Sunday Mass at St. Ann’s Church.
Debbie loved her family so dearly. She loved being in the presence of her parents, siblings and all her nieces and nephews. With each visit came an update about how the family was doing and once that was over the very important question Debbie always asked was, “How are the pets?” Debbie loved animals, she always had a special bond with them, and loved the joy that they always brought her.
Surviving are her siblings, Donald (Paula) Zalaznik of Bulger, Diane (Dan) Brucker of Bulger; sister-in-law, Cindy Zalaznik of Cherry Valley; nieces and nephews, Bryan, Kevin, Niki, Donnie, Robby and Chris Zalaznik, Jaclyn Matijevich, Jessica Gray and Chris Brucker, also surviving are many great-nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Zalaznik.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 14, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 106 St. John Street, Midway (724-796-3301), where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 15. Interment will follow at Center Cemetery, Midway.
