Edison W. Keener
Edison “Ed” W. Keener, 94, of Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of Upper St Clair, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022. Born November 15, 1927, in Brave, he was the husband of the late Sue Price Keener.
He was the loving father of Tracey Keener, Edison P. (Patricia) Keener, Terry (Paul) Zetlmeisl, Nancy Keener (Rich Repke) and Marian (Jim) Chesbrough, also late infant son, Robert Keener. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Ed was an attorney for The People’s Gas Company for many years before retiring in 1989. He attended West Virginia University for both undergraduate studies and law school.
He served in the Army and was stationed in Japan after World War II.
He was predeceased by his parents, Belle and Merrill Keener; and siblings, Alice Wallmark, Susannah Keener, Joseph Keener, Richard Keener, Robert Keener and half-siblings, Helen Lemley, Louella Keener and Merrill Keener.
A memorial service will be held in Pittsburgh at a future date.
