Jon Wyatt “Hoppy” Hopkins, 25, of Waynesburg, died Saturday, August 13, 2022, in his home.

He was born Sunday, September 22, 1996, in Fairmont, W.Va., a son of Jonnie McCallister and the late James Michael Hopkins.

Jon spent most of his life in Waynesburg. He enjoyed drawing, body art and riding motorcycles. He loved spending time with his daughter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Adelai Elaine Elizabeth Hopkins; his brother, James Cody Hopkins of Waynesburg; the mother of his child, Destiny Statler of Waynesburg; his paternal grandfather, Jim (Vickie) Hopkins of Waynesburg; his paternal great-grandmother, Mary Hopkins of Waynesburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding him in death were one niece, Shane Elizabeth Hopkins; and his paternal grandmother, Linda K. Hopkins.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 18, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner / director, 197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, August 19, with Pastor Robert Mooney officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
